- We never buy new fabric, so we don’t contribute to a cycle of profit for suppliers or producers of non-organic cotton or other fibres
- Each lovely product is made to the same exacting design - be it Apron, Dolly Sling or Cushion Cover – except for the fabrics, which will be unique to your piece
- Every product is lined, everywhere - right down to the tiny decorative pocket on the Little Star & Island - Kids' Collection Dolly Sling
- All our products are stitched with care and love, and finished properly - so stitching won't come undone, and it looks great
- Where a product may be strained, we double or triple stitch to give it extra strength
- Our products are robust - not lightweight - we use interlinings, wadding or other 'strengtheners' to give our products body, shape and firmness
What about choosing the colour?
Your OriginalStitcher chooses a unique combination of fabrics for every item they make.
Of course, you can choose the colourway when you buy an OriginalStitch product, so you can be sure the person you’re buying for will love it.
Once the product is made, the OriginalStitcher attaches a ‘Homemade with love, for you’ tag, signs it, and puts her own unique little OriginalStitch symbol on it – have a look when it arrives! Want to meet the OriginalStitchers?
