Our OriginalStitchers sit and leaf through lots of delicious fabrics before deciding how to combine them. They will always work to the colourways below when making our gorgeous Office Collection products, so you can be sure we’re thinking along your lines.
The colours, fabrics and patterns used in these ColourShells are an illustration of the types of patterns we permit our stitchers to use. We cannot guarantee we will be able to use the exact fabric you can see on the ColourShells. However, we are very flexible - if you see a pattern you like, why not contact us to discuss our Made Just For Me service - a bespoke product where you can choose the fabrics we use.
Zest: Bright, Bold, Vibrant...
May contain lots of gorgeous patterns in stripes, florals, dots, or pictoral fabrics - there will be more modern, contemporary and geometric fabrics than the Heritage colourways. If you or the person you're buying for likes colour and pattern in their life, in a modern style, this is the Colourway for them - Zest Hots, Zest Cools, or Zest Everything, which contains all and any Zest colour for those who don't mind, can't decide, or just love them all!
Zest Hots: reds, pinks, oranges, purples, browns.
Other colours we'll use: some white and lights, or a darker colour interspersed for contrast and depth.
Zest Cools: turquoises, aquas, limes, yellows, green/blues, browns;
Other colours we'll use: some white and lights, or a darker colour, interspersed for contrast and depth.
Heritage: Muted, Gentle, Vintage 'Faded', or contemporary but toned down...
Heritage products will still retain the patchwork feel, but contain fewer contemporary fabrics, for a delightfully English, country garden feel. Patterns may be florals, dots, spots, stripes, or pictorals. So if you love colour and pattern but your style is vintage nostalgia, then Heritage is the Colourway for you. Choose from Heritage Lavender, Heritage Rosa, or Heritage Sage.
Heritage Lavender: mainly soft purple hues
Colours we'll use: lilacs, mauves, some blues, some pinks. Also some white and lights, or darker colours, interspersed for contrast and depth.
Heritage Rosa: mainly pink and red hues
Colours we'll use: some greens, some earthier tones. Aslo some white and lights, or darker colours, interspersed for contrast and depth
Heritage Sage: mainly green and yellow hues
Colours we'll use: earthier tones, very natural. Aslo some white and lights, or darker colours, interspersed for contrast and depth.
Men's Shirt Fabrics: Masculine, understated, plain...
Our Men's Office products are primarily made using recycled men's workshirts, so they tend to be stripes, plaids, plains, dots, or checked. We use a maximum of 3 or 4 different fabrics so the products do not have an overly 'fussy' feel, nor will they contain floral or pictoral fabrics. We also like to use 'rougher' fabrics - there may be thicker, manlier fabrics than our delicate ladies' cottons...!
Shirt Fabrics - Darks: mainly blues, blacks, browns, navy blue.
Shirt Fabrics - Lights: light blues, whites, some pink/lilac on small areas i.e. the pocket
Shirt Fabrics - Mixed: a mixture of the above, but still retaining the non-'fussy' feel
