How is my OriginalStitch product made? |

OriginalStitchers forage and rummage, scout, scavenge and save fabrics from all sorts of different sources to make all the goodies you see on this website. They never buy new fabric, so we don’t contribute to a cycle of profit for suppliers or producers of non-organic cotton or other fibres. Each lovely product is made up in the same way, be it Pencil Roll, Dolly Sling, or Backpack – except for the fabrics.
What about choosing the colour?
Your OriginalStitcher chooses a unique combination of fabrics for every item they make. Of course, you can choose the colourway when you buy an OriginalStitch product; our OriginalStitchers always stick to the OriginalStitch ColourShells. There’s a great feast of sample colours for your eyes here, so you can be sure the person you’re buying for will love it. Once the product is made, the OriginalStitcher attaches a ‘Homemade with love, for you’ tag, signs it, and puts her own unique little OriginalStitch symbol on it – have a look when it arrives!
